Where In Your Home Can You Use Internal Spray Painting?

We’ve all been there: looking around our homes and feeling as though they look a bit tired. Perhaps there are some scuff marks on the walls. Maybe your ceilings have seen better days. Or it might be that your doors have got a few scratches and chips on them from general wear and tear.

The idea of redecorating a room can feel overwhelming at times. For other people, it is an exciting task but one that can be time consuming. In fact, one survey found that almost one-third of Brits aged 25 to 34 redecorate at least one part of their home every six months.

In the same survey, the top two reasons to avoid redecorating were cited as budget and lack of time.

So, is there a quicker and easier option to give your home a refresh? It turns out there is: internal spray painting.

You could be forgiven for thinking that this kind of painting technique is not suitable for indoor areas, but when carried out by professionals it is a great option.

What can you spray paint internally?

An awful lot of internal surfaces can be spray painted when you know what you’re doing. For instance, we can spray paint window frames, as well as internal doors. We can also spray paint walls and ceilings which is considerably quicker than using a brush or roller.

Spray painting is also suitable for more delicate tasks, like skirting boards, again significantly accelerating the process of redecorating a room or even a whole home.

In the kitchen, we can spray paint cupboard doors to give them a lift, while we can take other items of furniture and spray paint them to help them match your new aesthetic. In truth, there isn’t much we can’t spray paint, so it’s always worth asking what’s possible.

For example, we can spray paint uPVC and composite windows and doors, so you can put your own stamp on your property rather than having to stick with the (often generic) colours provided by manufacturers.

Why is internal spray painting a good choice?

One of the top reasons to choose internal spray painting is the time it takes. Depending on how many rooms you want us to decorate and how large your property is, we can complete the work in anywhere from half a day to three days. Normally, the projects we work on take between one and three days.

Because we don’t have to remove any built-in units to do our work, it also minimises the disruption to your home and your life.

It is also an incredibly cost-effective way to give your home a facelift. This is particularly true of built-in wardrobes or kitchen units that can be very expensive to replace. We estimate that it is approximately 80 per cent cheaper to spray paint such units than it is to buy new ones.

What’s more, one of the top mistakes people make when redecorating their own homes is to skip the essential prep work (we understand, it can feel boring). But when you hire professionals to spray paint a room or rooms in your home, we’ll take care of all the prep work as well as the painting, saving you valuable time.
